DSC00920

Dirty makeup brush may cause damage to our skin because of leftover germs and bacterias on the brush. Some people said cleaning makeup brushes is not a fun thing but not for me, I love it. As long as the brushes clean then my skin is safe.

A lot of DIYs out there about makeup board and I tried on my own and honestly its so easy, simple and less time needed. It works as good as expensive makeup board cleanser.

So here how I do it.

MATERIALS YOU NEED :

  1. A board ( I use a cheap chopping board)
  2. Glue gun
  3. Glue sticks

START YOUR PROJECT :

STEP 1

What I do is, I drew template that I want to create on the board, so I have clear guidelines while I draw the shapes. You may skip this if you already have something in mind.

I created 3 rows and 2 columns with 6 different patterns.

STEP 2

I drew the lines on the board as a guideline for me while drawing.

STEP 3

Start forming the patterns using the hot glue gun as the template.

Each row has its own function:

Lowest Row: For refining by remove bacterias or unwanted germs.

Middle Row:  For washing the brush with water and makeup cleanser detergent/soap

Top Row: To remove the detergent/soap by rinsing.

Step 4

Let it dries about 2 minutes then you may start using it.

I’m surprised at how easy this to make.
