SERIOUSLY cute – my IKEA Shelves Makover

This is a fun makeover for me. I started out with the IKEA Hyllis which is a very light ,too basic and very cheap. It looks plain

The first step was to take them apart, which is super simple.  Then commence to spraying, spray method is always my favorite because it’s the easiest and fastest ways to paint. It took me 2 cans of white spray to spray the entire shelve, making sure to get each side from every angle and let it dries. This is the hardest part – the waiting – making sure it’s dry before getting to next step. Makeover or DIY projects taught you what is patient all about.

Meanwhile, I created the stencil for shelves decoration. I choose flower shapes. Sprayed on top of the stencil and I absolutely loved it. It so cute.

Once again, wait until it dries. patient……

Once everything is dry, re-assemble the pieces and fill the shelves.

Isn’t that better?  It gives such a happy feeling to the room.  So much brighter!  I really love it!
